Mini Swimming Pool

We bought Maggie and Marley a little swimming pool with a slide. They love it! They swim, splash, slide and giggle :)

I could sit out there all day watching them have the time of their lives.

They Have even had mini pool parties with their friends! It's just the cutest thing!

Happy Birthday to Me

Today I celebrated my birthday with my wonderful family. Thank you all for making me feel so special on my big day :) I enjoyed a wonderful dinner and had a very yummy cake! The best gift of all was just being with each of you and being loved.

I don't need a special day to celebrate my love for my family, but any excuse to decorate and do things a lttle out of the norm has my name written all over it :) What could be better than heart shaped PB sandwiches for lunch and heart shaped hamburgers for dinner?! And of course there were gifts for all my sweet Valentine's!

Hard to believe that my two baby girls are turning two years old. Where has the time gone? You both have grown so much this past year and we are all so very proud of both of you.

Maggie is such a little pepper! Marley is still very laid back :) You are both so very sweet and loving. We are very lucky to have you both in our lives.

I love you both so very much and am thankful every day that I get to be your mom. It's an awesome job :)

We celebrated you both with our family and friends. You are both very loved by some very awesome people. We had a nice party for you both and you both enjoyed every second of it. As you will learn, your mommy loves to have parties for her kids, I love every detail of planning them, but the best part of it all is celebrating someone very special and on this day we got to celebrate two very special little girls.

Christmas Card 2010

This is our Christmas card for 2010.

What a wonderful and busy year we have had. So many wonderful memories and pictures it was so hard to pick just a few for the card. I could have made photo books for our cards! We took two wonderful vacation this year. One to Destin, Florida and one to San Antonio, Texas. Destin is one of our favorite places to go, we had a blast. This was Maggie and Marley's first beach trip, and they loved it! We look forward to this trip every summer. So many good times there and memories.

We also went to San Antonio this summer to visit my Great Aunt, Sister Geraldine. She is a nun and lives at Our Lady of the Lake Convent. We went with my mom, my Aunt Pat, Uncle Sonny and Nan. It was a wonderful trip and we all had a wonderful time visiting and doing a little sight seeing. On the way home we stopped in Katy, the new home of my sister and brother-in-law. That was not a happy point of our year, but we are happy for them in their new adventures of their life. Just wish they were closer.

Also, we won the SUPERBOWL :)

Too many memories and good times to list, but they are all documented in pictures and in our hearts. We are all so blessed to have each other and I am so thankful that we are healthy. I hope all the years to come are filled with as much joy as 2010 has been.

Master Bedroom

This week on Show Us Your Life, over at Kelly's Korner, they are touring Master Bedrooms.

I love our bedroom. It is not big at all, but it has everything we want, need and love. My nightstand belonged to my husband's great-grandmother, and a few years ago my mother-in-law gave it to me for Mother's Day! I love it and it means so much to me. This room is the perfect room for us to end all of our busy days!
